The next big event running in Australia is our 25th AABC National Bonsai Convention in Melbourne from 18th till 20th May. Guest International Demonstrator is Boon Manakitivipart from California. Boon operates his own Bonsai Nursery in San Francisco. National Conventions are an excellent way to improve your bonsai knowledge and experience and registrations are open to anyone. Bonsai magazine starts its second year of publication this month. If you have not subscribed yet, I encourage you to do so. Some of this country's best bonsai artists are writing for the magazine and it is your best way to find out what is happening on the Australian bonsai scene.
